Today I'm showing you the most important features built into Apple's Numbers. Amazon (and other sellers?) have the box set DVD of iWork '09 available at a reasonable price (at last report), and this version (as well as the concurrent versions of Pages and Keynote included in the package) will run under Mountain Lion. No online version of Numbers 2 (Numbers '09) is still available. Numbers is a gorgeous spreadsheet package that rivals Microsofts Excel software. Numbers 3 was distributed only via the app store, but is no longer available there. The current version, the only version available through the app store, is Numbers 4.x.x, which requires macOS Sierra (10.12.x). If you log onto the Mac appstore with a computer running Mountain Lion, you will not find a version of Numbers that will work under that version of Mac OS X.
